As part of the Royal Conservatory's new music festival, Soundstreams presents the music of composer Unsuk Chin. Included is the premiere of a new work by Chris Paul Harman.

Flutist Sibylle Marquardt is featured in recital with pianist Monique de Margerie, baritone Michael Donovan, cellist Paul Pulford, and Fraser Jackson, bassoon. Works by Messaien, Dutilleux, Ravel, others. Includes the premiere of a setting of Keats' "Ode to a Nightingale" by Michael Donovan for flute, bassoon, voice and piano.

New Music Concerts pays tribute to composer John Beckwith who turns 90 this year. Included is the premiere of his Quintet for flute, bassoon, trumpet, viola and contrabass.
